Vaeb с песней "Róa" представят Исландию на Евровидении 2025
22 февраля состоялся национальный отбор Исландии на Евровидение 2025 - Söngvakeppnin 2025. В результате победы дуэт Vaeb представит страну на музыкальном конкурсе в Базеле.
VÆB — исландский музыкальный дуэт, состоящий из братьев Маттиаса Давида и Хальфдана Хельги Маттиассона. Работают в жанрах электронной и танцевальной музыки. Выпустили свою первую песню «Aron Can» 5 августа 2022 года. VÆB единственные решили оставить песню на исландском для финала отбора.
Всего в финале отбора приняло участие шесть конкурсантов:
1. Ágúst – “Like You”
2. Bjarni Arason – “Aðeins lengur”
3. Júlí & Dísa – “Fire”
4. Vaeb – “RÓA”
5. Tinna – “Words”
6. Stebbi JAK – “Set Me Free”
В 2024 году Исландию на Евровидении в Мальмё представляла певица Hera Björk с песней «Scared of Heights». Исполнительница не прошла в финал конкурса.
