Go-Jo с песней "Milkshake Man" представит Австралию на Евровидении 2025
25 февраля австралийский вещатель SBS объявил, что исполнитель Go-jo представит страну на Евровидении 2025 с песней "Milkshake Man".
Go-Jo — австралийский поп-певец, известный своими гитарными оригинальными и кавер-песнями. Родился 7 декабря 1989 года.
В раннем возрасте Go-Jo начал проявлять интерес к музыке. В 13 лет мама купила ему первую гитару, что привило страсть к созданию музыки. После переезда в Перт на футбольной стипендии Go-Jo познакомился с написанием песен, производством, смешиванием и записью. В 16 лет он купил свою первую цифровую аудиостанцию и начал производить музыку для других исполнителей, прежде чем найти свой голос.
Дебютный сингл Go-Jo выпустил в 2016 году. Его музыка сочетает элементы поп-музыки с влиянием инди и фолка.
Некоторые известные песни Go-Jo: «Mr. Hollywood», «Ship in a Bottle», «Iris», «No One Else», «Nobody Like You», «With You», «Missing You», «Incredible», «Phases» и «Double Down».
В 2023 году Go-Jo выпустил песню «Mrs. Hollywood», которая стала популярной благодаря своему заразительному звучанию и доступным лирикам.
Исполнитель был выбран при помощи внутреннего отбора.
Австралию в 2024 году на Евровидении представлял дуэт Electric Fields с песней «One Milkali (One Blood)». Коллектив не прошел в финал конкурса.
